Phi Sigma Sigma, founded at Hunter College New York, New York in 1913, is the first nonsectarian sorority. It was founded on the principles of inclusiveness, sisterhood, scholarship and self-less giving.
The women of Phi Sigma Sigma pride themselves on diverse membership, understanding that dynamic, powerful women come from every different background, race and religion. The women of Phi Sigma Sigma strive to inspire the personal development of each sister and perpetuate the advancement of womanhood.
We are women who embracing individuality, turning a deaf ear to the idea that we need to all look, sound and act alike in our to share the deepest bonds of sisterhood with one another. We believe it is our differences that make us stronger women.
